Which line should I choose?
Skiff for anything idle most of the time — VPN, DNS, a small bot. Cutter for production applications and databases. Clipper when single-thread latency decides the outcome. Hold when you are buying terabytes. Bastion when jurisdiction and disk encryption are the point.
Is every line KVM?
Yes, without exception. We do not sell OpenVZ or LXC containers as virtual servers, which is why Docker, WireGuard, custom kernels, nested virtualisation and the BSDs all work here.
What is the difference between shared and dedicated vCPU?
A shared vCPU is scheduled against other tenants, so under contention your process waits — visible as steal time. A dedicated vCPU is a physical thread reserved for you. Skiff and Hold use shared cores; Cutter, Clipper and Bastion use dedicated ones.
